Telegram Bot Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the @earqualityBot Telegram bot (the "Bot"), operated by Ear Quality LLC ("Ear Quality", "we", "us"), handles the information you share when you interact with it on Telegram. It supplements — and does not replace — our general Privacy Policy.

1. What the Bot does

The Bot lets you subscribe to Ear Quality announcements (drops, events, artist news) and send direct messages to our team for support or booking questions. Replies come from a real person on our team.

2. Information we receive from Telegram

When you message the Bot, Telegram forwards us the following, which we store:

Your Telegram numeric user ID and chat ID.
Your Telegram username, first name, and last name (as you have set them on Telegram), if provided.
The content of messages you send to the Bot — text, photos, audio, documents, stickers, or other media.
Message timestamps and Telegram-assigned message and update IDs.

We do not receive your phone number, email, contacts, or location unless you voluntarily send them.

3. How we use it

To send you the broadcasts you subscribed to by sending /start.
To read and reply to your direct messages for customer support, booking, and general questions.
To keep an internal conversation history so our team can pick up where a previous message left off.
To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Bot (for example, deduplicating retries from Telegram).

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below that are necessary to run the Bot.

4. Service providers

Telegram — delivers messages between you and the Bot. Your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's own privacy policy.
Lovable Cloud — hosts our database and backend, where subscriber records and message history are stored.

5. Retention

Subscriber records are kept for as long as you remain subscribed. Message history is retained to provide continuity of support and is deleted on request (see below). We may keep minimal logs for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention.

6. Your choices

Unsubscribe from broadcasts at any time by sending /stop to the Bot. You can resubscribe with /start.
Block the Bot in Telegram to stop all messages. Telegram will stop delivering our messages to you immediately.
Delete your data — email info@earquality.com from the address associated with your Telegram account, or DM the Bot, and we will delete your subscriber record and stored messages within 30 days.

7. Children

The Bot is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the Bot if you are under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Updated" date at the top reflects the last change. Material changes will be announced via the Bot before they take effect.
